Do not be surprised when this one happens. It is a VERY common theme on the Twin Flame Journey. But do not get discouraged it is something that you can work on within and heal.
Twin Flames are the highest spiritual and highest romantic partner that you can achieve. So when you meet your Twin Flame, a lot of unhealed trauma is going to come up and they are going to mirror this to you of places you are not fully loving yourself in. Typically a Twin Flame will block you because you are focusing too much on them. You are putting them first before yourself. Or they may block you to help you discover parts of yourself that you still have to surrender and have faith with. They block you not knowing that is their intention; they are just simply mirroring to you places where you still have to go deeper in loving yourself. Sometimes they can block you because they do not understand the intense feelings that they are having for you. But the good news is that you can heal ALL of this!
